EU AIA Conformity Assessment: A step-by-step guide
This infographic, developed in partnership with Future of Privacy Forum, will provide you with:
- A four-step process for conducting a Conformity Assessment (CA)
- Reference to the relevant articles of the EU AI Act
- The key questions to consider when performing a CA
“Conformity Assessment” is defined under Article 3 of the EU AI Act as the process of verifying and/or demonstrating that a high-risk AI system complies with the requirements within the Act. The CA is a process that consists of various assessments, such as the assessment of whether the AI system qualifies as high-risk, and the assessment of risks that is part of the risk management system. The CA process additionally consists of requirements that need to be built-in the high-risk AI system as well as documentation obligations.
